These genuine red garnet earrings are gorgeous in natural and modern red gemstones and sterling silver wire. The earrings are about 1 1/2" long. This Canadian made garnet jewellery in the deepest red would be a lovely gift for anyone with a special day in January, as garnet is the birthstone for that month. These organic tube cut stones are tiny and the polished dark red gemstones remind me of pomegranate seeds in their rich colour and off round shape. I added tiny gold hematite stones to frame the garnets and created this design with 20 gauge sterling silver wire. The lean tube cut keeps the feel of these hammered earrings modern and artisan. I only have a limited number of these stones and cannot get any more.
These earrings are designed for regular piercings, are about 1 1/2" (37mm) long and will be shipped in a splurge gift tin. Please expect natural variation in the stones in each pair of handmade earrings as shown in photo 5. A photo of these earrings on a life size mannequein is shown in photo 3.
